CASTING CALL: Police ID woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars in makeup – WITN

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) – It didn’t take long for Greenville police to identify a woman who is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of makeup.

Police posted the photos of the woman just before 11:00 a.m. Less than three hours later, a department spokeswoman said they had identified her and that charges are pending.

The spokeswoman says they first learned her name through tips, and then the woman actually reached out to police herself.

On social media, police jokingly said the woman would be the perfect candidate for a new feature film, “Glamour Shots: Mugshot Edition”.

She is accused of walking out of Ulta Beauty on Evans Street on two different occasions with some $2,000 worth of makeup.

Police added perks for the staring role in their film would be makeup, hair and lighting all provided by the Pitt County Detention Center.

We’ll let you know when charges are brought and police release her identity.
