Haven’t you struggled with numerous makeup removal methods that sometimes just don’t do a good enough job? As these products at times fail to their job, aren’t you guilty of using extra force to try and make the most of it? Using excessive force with makeup removers that do not offer any nourishing properties plainly damages your skin and disrupts the pH balance required for skin to stay healthy. Oil-based makeup removers are a good option to remove stubborn makeup, but there is a new player in town.
Makeup cleansing balms is the new makeup removal trend gaining popularity as it is believed to remove all traces of makeup, even the waterproof kind, while keeping your skin moisturised and healthy. Unlike other makeup removers, cleansing balms are solid not liquid, and they consist of a mixture of oils, waxes, and emulsifiers. These balms thoroughly cleanse your skin while moisturising it, therefore maintain a healthy pH balance.
If you want to try out this new skincare trend but are iffy about spending on a cleansing balm available in the market, you could try out this DIY cleansing balm.
