Kim Kardashian’s $10 million-dollar lawsuit against a makeup app who used her photo is moving forward.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the company iHandy is demanding Kim’s case be dismissed from court.
iHandy denies all allegations of wrongdoing in the complaint. Kim accused the company of using her photo to promote their app without permission.
The company says they are a corporation organized under the laws of Hong Kong, China. They argue the court has no jurisdiction over them.
Aside from the whole jurisdiction they argue, “On information and belief, damages, if any, that were allegedly sustained by Plaintiff as a result of the acts complained of were caused, in whole or in part, or were contributed to by reason of the acts, omissions, negligence and/or intentional misconduct of Plaintiff or her agents.”
iHandy is demanding the entire lawsuit be tossed out.
